It’s not only about eating healthy and not only about exercising. You have to take care of your body by eating the right quantities of the right food. You have to move your body enough.
But you also have to work on your mindset, your relationship with your food, your relationship and perception of your body.
It’s not just about ONE thing that you have to to do and following steps A, B and C to achieve your goals.
Crushing your goals takes time, effort, and consistent adjustments because as you implement your strategy, you will realize that you didn’t have enough information, or you need to adjust an approach, or you need to change your expectations.
And that’s the beauty of the journey of achieving your goals : it’s about the person you are becoming in the process, and not about the outcome itself. And it’s about the habits you cultivate to help support your journey to crushing your goals.
Which is what I wanted to talk about in this blog post. The habits that you need to cultivate to create a strong foundation on which you can achieve your goals and create a more meaningful and purposeful life.
Because you are your habits, and the quality of your life is determined by the quality of your habits. The better quality your habits are, the better the quality of your life will be.
So I highly encourage you, especially if you’ve been having a hard time with your goals, to take a step back and assess your habits, and from there, cultivate the right habits to support your journey to crushing your goals.

HABIT 1 | Tracking
An important determining factor in how efficiently and how well you achieve your goals is how systematic you are about tracking your progress.
If you want to know where you’re at, how far you’ve come, how long you have left, and how you’re progressing, then how
Track your progress, efforts, to help you assess how you’re doing, what’s working and what you need to change. Seeing small incremental changes to help you stay motivated because as you progress towards achieving your goals, you might not always see the changes.
And every step counts. Every single moment and effort that you make towards your goals, even if it’s shifting your mindset or doing one small task, these all count and are cumulative until you’re able to reach your goal.

Tracking other things like your exercise routine, your good memories, your gratitude journal…these are also fundamental in your journey because you are going to be creating a strong foundation by working on your mindset and creating a positive environment where you can thrive and have more emotional energy to put towards achieving your goals.

Because your thoughts create your reality. And if you want to create a reality…a life .. that you love… then you must cultivate happier, more empowering and inspiring thoughts to be able to do that.
And what do I mean by working on your mindset?
I mean cultivate a positive mindset where a challenge is welcomed because you know that you have the opportunity to grow and learn from it.
I mean cultivating a mindset where you’re constantly trying to learn more about yourself and about the world around you. Where you’re taking the time to reflect and assess who you are and what you want in life, and how you can create it.
It means cultivating a mindset where you know, in your heart, that you deserve to live a life that you love and that you deserve to be happy.
You might be wondering why your mindset is a habit. That’s because your thoughts are, to some extent automated. You have been hardwired to respond and react to the world and to situations in a particular way, so if you want to create a life that you love, then you must learn how to create patterns of thoughts that are positive and inspiring so that you are not wasting it on energy that it wasted.
HABIT 3 | Consistency and patience
Whether we’re talking about crushing your goals or crushing at LIFE, you have to learn how to be patient and how to be consistent with anything that you’re doing.
Think about it – if you’re trying to learn a new skill, then you have to stay patient with yourself as you pass the learning curve, but you also need to consistently practice that new skill so that you refine your skill.
Or if you’re trying to cultivate a new habit (see what I did there?), then you have to be patient with your yourself if, for example, you forgot to practice it one day. But you also have to be consistent and to remind yourself, all the time, of the habit you’re trying to cultivate.
Consistency and patience go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other.
And if you want to crush your goals but also create a life that you love, then you have to consistently pursue both those things, You have to constantly make efforts towards your goals and your dream life, and to stay patient as you work towards it.
Because change, transformation and grow take time, and all are important in creating a life that you love. And you have to focus on the journey and the person you have to become to achieve the goals that you want to achieve.
Stay patient and make small efforts, every single day, and you WILL crush your goals.
