Here’s an honest life + health update to explain why I haven’t been posting as much content as usual. Grab a coffee and let’s have a heart to heart. If you’ve been struggling lately, I hope that this video helps to serve as a reminder that you are not alone.
A few month ago, I embarked on a new health and wellness journey because I wanted to take better control over my health to feel more physically and mentally energized.
Things didn’t go as planned.
The last 2 years of my life have been… a lot (to say the least). Going through a hard break-up (and subsequent divorce), having to move twice, living through a pandemic, my grandfather passing away…it’s been a lot.
And what I didn’t realize is that this trauma has had a big impact on my body, to the point where my body is in “protection” mode and not functioning optimally. No matter what I do, how healthy I eat and how much I exercise, my body is not responding because my nervous system is shot and my body is in survival mode.
So I wanted to have an honest and open conversation with you to know that life throws you curveballs and that you have to learn how to adapt and change your approach and strategy to create a happier life.
