Fun-Reads-1

Browsing the internet during my breaks at work is a great way to distract myself and step away from the reality of having a full-time job. It’s amazing how much you can learn and discover over the internet. I still remember the day that the internet came out, and I couldn’t grasp what that meant. It’s crazy how the internet has grown and has become an endless source of knowledge.

Here are a few articles that stood out and that I wanted to share with you this week. I love finding new websites to browse, so if you have any recommendations, please share them with me in the comment section below or through social media, @SeppyforLove!

The Cupcakes & Cashmere book is practical but it’s not quite a book ‘to read’. Alexa Chung’s book is also a quick ‘read’ but I’m still not sure how I feel about it!! What type of book are you looking for? A good blog for book reviews so you can get some ideas is http://www.saharsreviews.com ! I always get ideas from there

I’m in the mood for darker lipstick shades too. And you’re right, sometimes, my dark lipsticks bleed so bad, so definitely need a lip liner to help with that :)

I definitely really enjoyed the breakfast around the world post! A lot of places have such diverse breakfasts, I pretty much always have milk and cereal haha!

How did you like Alexa Chung’s book? I thought it was a little overpriced and seemed more like a random blog, but it’s so pretty on my bookcase!

I thought it was SO interesting to see what people eat around the world because we are so used to what we eat that we tend to forget that breakfast (and food in general for that matter) looks a lot different in other countries. I vary my breakfast but stick to the usual suspects, granola & yogurt, eggs, or pancakes on the weekend when I have time!

Alex Chung’s book was okay. I’m glad I got it because it does look pretty, haha, but in terms of content, I didn’t too much out of it. I’m also glad that I read through it because so many people talked about it, but I didn’t really understand much to be honest haha
